A porteña by birth, Mercedes Alfonsín received her degree in Combined Arts from the National University Of Buenos Aires and a Masters of Fine Arts for Film and Opera from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Since 1995, Alfonsín has worked in Argentina and internationally designing feature films, television series and commercials. She has collaborated with the Oscar winning directors Juan Jose Campanella and Luis Puenzo, as well as numerous well-known directors around the world as Rodrigo García, Pablo Trapero, Lucía Puenzo, Gerardo Olivares and Daniele Luchetti.
